I am a teacher, and my student’s obsession with Pokemon has led me onto a challenge that I may never complete, but will undertake anyway.  I am going to try and stitch up all 718 (I think?!?) Pokemon, usually in batches of 30, onto 8×10 inch Aida Fabric.  I love having an ongoing project, and it seems like this one will be ongoing for quite some time.  I remember playing Pokemon yellow on my Gameboy years ago when it first came out, but have not kept up with theses games since then.  I was surprised by the large number of new Pokemon creatures when I was reintroduced to the franchise by my students!  Not sure if I will ever get back into playing the games again, but I do enjoy the various designs, and its neat to see the amount of variation and characterization you can achieve with a limited number of pixels and colour.
